This topic is interesting to me, although I can't offer any insight into how the PNCLL handles this situation. Another thing that would be helpful though is to notify your local fire & police departments and see if they are avalible to have one handy for the sidelines.

Here is a story that should spur the desire to acquire a defibrillator unit, either through the school's athletic department or by the team...

While I was against mandating that teams have to acquire a unit, in lieu of that it makes all the sense in the world to make arrangements to at least have one available at the games. I would think with stories like this that Athletic Depts would be pushing the issue themselves, telling their teams that they can sign one out for their games. That way they could have several units available, and offer training classes as well.
