Time Warner Cable in San Diego isn't picknig up ABC-10 TV for 2006. So if you have the local cable in San Diego, you won't get any local ABC programming as well as national ABC stuff. They are also cutting the HDTV Dec. 1st so no USC-UCLA fans will get to see the game in HDTV since that game is the 3rd.

If you have Direct TV or other, you will be fine and still get it.

Let me make sure I understand what the beef is all about betwixt ABC and Time Warner Cable...

Disney owns ABC, is that still true?

Glancing from googling "tiff between ABC and Time Warner Cable", it appears that it is not the first time that Time Warner Cable dropped ABC. It appears that it dates back to around 2000 when the problems surfaced.

So what is the beef between Disney and Time Warner? I guess it has to be the competition.

Ok it really doesn't make much sense to drop a nationally recognized network, even for competition purposes. I mean isn't the best kind of competition the one that you can profit off of?

I think maybe there's some kind of contract disagreement between the two...
