I was trying to remember if we decided to bring back the All-Star game this year and couldn't come up with the answer...though I'm sure somebody knows and can help. I also wanted to throw out an idea I had this summer. We would love to host an all-star-type-game in Missoula sometime after the season has ended (I'm thinking May 27th as of now). Anyways, I'm open to suggestions about this, but I was thinking it would be coach's pick. Each coach could pick 4 guys or so, for whatever reason, and send them out to the game. I'm currently working on having our home games in Washington-Grizzly Stadium, so hopefully that would work out as a venue. I don't really have anything on costs yet (although we would be willing to do what was necessary), but I wanted to see if people would be interested in something like this.

I think its a great idea, and I'm sure there are enough guys that would be down for a game and some fun after the season.

Even if it isn't a legit "all-star game," Missoula would be a great town for some fun after a tough season and I know there are ton's of players who will play any opportunity they can!

well...since I'm not even sure what it is that I am anymore, I'd have to say yeah. In fact, that should be one of the criteria...you gotta have your coach play.

i say we try to put together another all-conference alumni team. btw, i totally support the all-star game and i think the conference should get behind it.
