You all totally took that the wrong way. We are driving down with ~20-25 BRAND NEW GUYS (never picked up a stick until sept 05, who have played in 2 games. Once against UTA's new guys, and our alumni game) Now we have to somehow convince them that the best high school players in Houston aren’t going to kick our fall ball team butt. How would you feel if your first time playing a game is against a stacked team? I for one am not scared to play any team at the tournament. You never know how it is going to turn out.

i saw alot of good things from this weekend. first, i would like to thank texas a&m for throwing such a great tournament. it was very organized and alot of fun. as for teams, i was impressed by the houston select. they could run and had great stick skills. as for college teams i was impressed by texas state. even though they could not pull out the win in the final. they were alot of fun to watch and i think they have improved greatly in the last couple of years. i would watch out for them in the LSA this year.

Ya, we played the worst we had the entire tournament in the first half against Tech. They kept winning the ground balls, and therefore the game. After the first half the score was 6-1, and we came back to out score them 4-1 the second half. By next semester watch out because we won't make the same mistakes!

We may play in the UT tournament, and if so I'll be looking forward to it.

First off, I would like to tip my hat to Tech guys. Congrats on winning Aggieland. They outplayed us in pretty much every aspect of the game. Groundballs, faceoffs, fast breaks, clears, rides, etc...Furthermore, I have yet to see A&M play, and with that being said... I would say Tech is playing the best in our league right now. They have a lot of individual talent and if and win they come together, they will be a lot more dangerous. This Spring, should be interesting.

cheers,

I was impressed with both UT, and tech. It is obvious that all the teams haven't fully blossumed, so this spring season(no pun intended) will be a great one.
