Ft. Lewis and New Mexico were big rivals long before there was a USLIA or USL MDIA. Once New Mexico comes on board look for that to be a big game.
Mines and Northern Colorado has always been a big game in Div. B. Mines used to own UNC but I have not kept up with things these last few years.

Lobos - Skyhawks.... won't be a big game until the Lobos can run with 'em.
Western v. Ft. Lewis - there's a rivalry building there for sure. Both are mountain schools with similar student populations. WSC ousted FLC when they were ranked last season. And FLC won both fall-ball games by 1 goal in overtime.

Yeah, I hear you. It is true that New Mexico does not have a whole lot right at this moment. But that is subject to change.
I have some health things I have to overcome this next year. But I'm on my way. Believe me I will beat these health issues one way or another and by 2007 I will be Coaching again and leading the University of New Mexico program back in the USL MDIA and they will be a force to be dealt with in a tough Conference like the Rocky Mountain. It may take 1-2 years but you can bank on it!
There is a lot of great talent at New Mexico and we have put together a great staff of people that can Coach this program into a top 10 contender in the USL MDIA Division A. It wont be easy but we will get there. The talent to go far in the USL MDIA is walking the UNM campus. It is just a matter of hard work and organization to build a great program there.
