Any word on the final ACC Tournament lineup? I know GT won't be in b/c they don't play fall ball. Were you all able to recruit the other ACC squads?
Also, any words on who's shaping up as favorites? Can anyone hang with VT or FSU?

ACLC Tournament
It is now called the Atlantic Coast Lacrosse Classic (ACC Trademark rules would make it a big pain to call it the ACC Tourney.)
We tried our hardest to get all the ACC affiliated teams but this being fall ball, some of the farther teams weren't able to commit to making it down to Raleigh. However, we have some very good USLIA and NCLL teams and it's going to make for an exciting tournament!!!
The teams participating are:
VT- Represented the SELC at the USLIA Nat'l Tournament
NCSU- Runner up behind VT in SELC North Division
Maryland Club- Won NCLL Division I National Championship
Virginia Club- Runner up in the Tide Water Division
Duke Club- Won Blue Ridge Division Title with an 8-1 record
UNC Club- Runner up in the Blue Ridge with a 4-1 record
We're looking foward to the Nov. 12-13 weekend. These teams will surely make the tournament extremely competitive and rewarding. It'll create a good oportunity for the USLIA and NCLL to show their game on the same field, and it'll be a good time for everyone involved.

Sounds like a pretty solid start, given how many tournaments our out there. Do you think you can recruit some of the other SELC squads for next year? (assuming this year is a success)
I would think Wake and Clemson would be easy since they are within a reasonable drive. I know GT doesn't Fall Ball. What about FSU, Miami, and BC?

I definitely think that we can get more teams next year. This being the first year of the tournament, some teams aren't quite sure what to expect or whether to be able to commit. Others this year, such as Wake, had previous tournament engagements. Ultimately, we're confident that this tournament is going to go well and is going to be a lot of fun. We're hoping teams that showed interest this year, such as Miami and FSU, can make plans to make it in future years. November 12-13 is going to be an exciting weekend for lacrosse here in North Carolina.
