So....

Any comments from observers on the play?

Just from the numbers, sounds like the Rams are taking up where they left off.

Thanks to BSTE_LAX/Mr. Hughes for the updates. Sounds like an exciting game between the Texas teams.

My thanks to Matt Benson for updating me on the Tech-A&M game as I have already posted the scores at the LSA website. I already posted the final score for St. Johns-UTA game with St. Johns as the winner, 11-9. I went over to UMLL and found out the final score. I am going over to RMLC to find out the actual final score of CSU and Auburn where I read that the Rams won, 23-2. Looks like the Rams have not lost their footing.

To my best knowledge, yes as those are what I got from someone there who kept text messaging me throughout the night.

I know Tech and St. John's for sure, CSU is only at pretty sure.

Confirming the final scores with emails coming to me:

St. Johns 11 UTA 9 (thanks to Gary Robinson who confirmed that a few minutes ago)

Texas Tech 11 Texas A&M 9

The only score I am waiting and will probably expect it first thing in the morning, that is, SMU at Oklahoma State. That game was played in Stillwater today or tonight whichever came first.

Wow! Congrats to Texas Tech for pulling off the huge win that has at least THIS poll voter scratching his head at the first truly surprising score of the year.

Thanks guys. You guys use way too many abbreviations for school names. I have a tough time telling who's who sometimes.

Congrats to the Red Raiders. When was the last time Texas Tech beat U of Texas or A&M?

I know that Texas Tech defeated the Longhorns twice almost two years ago (2003- regular season and LSA playoffs). That was when they ended up playing A&M for the 2003 LSA title.

As for Tech defeating A&M, I am sure someone will chime in and say when it was the last time the Red Raiders defeated the Aggies.

what on earth is going on?

Postby FlockOfSeagulls on Sat Feb 12, 2005 11:39 am

I would love to hear some details on the tech/a&m game. If the aggies were at full strength, this certainly cant bode well for them with the longhorns and a nasty ooc schedule left. I watched tech practice just about every day in january and certainly didnt see a team that i thought was capable of this, so i'm very impressed. i thought i could live a hundred years and never say this, but with how closely smu played tech without a few of their best players, a&m may be lucky they don't have the ponies on their schedule this year.
