Poll Voters
Is there a list somewhere of the voters and their league or team affiliations?

poll voters
Just wondering- If the voters haven't been selected yet then where do these preseason polls come from?

I believe they used the voters from last year for that one.

I selected the preseason USLIA.com poll voters. I used last year's poll voters and conference directors to compile these polls in early November. (The '05 preseason Top 25 polls were announced the first week of December and are now featured in InsideLacrosse & Lacrosse Magazine. We had a press deadline to meet.)
I will be soliciting for '05 regular season poll voters for both Div. A and Div. B very soon. Keep your eyes posted to the site & message forum.

I would hope that there's a limit to the number of voters...
The preliminary steps to become a poll voter, in my mind, can REALLY cheapen the league. Not to say the votes will be handed out easily, but if there are voters significant to only certain polls, I find that quite amateur...
The whole system sounds pretty terrible to me. I don't think former players or INTERESTED fans should be allowed. I don't claim to have a remedy worth typing. God knows any suggestion, no matter how constructive, will immediately be PUT DOWN by Sonny, and I will be told how I am wrong.
Just throwing out my opinion...

1. Name
2. Which poll you would like to vote in.
3. Current or past team/conference affiliation
4. Brief bio (100 words of less) on why you would be a good voter.

A. There is a limit to the number of voters in each poll.
B. I do not handout voting rights to just anyone that applies to be a voter.

C. If you don't have a remedy (or constructive criticism) for the problem of attracting qualified poll voters, then what exactly is the purpose of your post Bentiss? Design the better mousetrap and I'm all ears.

Geez, want some cheese with that whine?

I don't think you should worry about throwing out your opinion, I threw out your opinion when I read your post.

There is no purpose other than to ask a few questions. I thought that the section on how to become a voter was a bit vague.

You can question all you want, but lord, did they remove your tact when they issued your handgun for Detroit games?
I know this is how you go about getting attention...nobody on this board is as consistently confrontational as you.
If it's on purpose, it's working...if it's not, then up the Lithium dosage.
