Plus dude, like I said before, half the fun is meeting all the girls on the teams and getting lucky and staying in the same hotels as them

Championships in Dallas-Late
I know this is late, but the night life in Dallas is excellent. I went to SMU my freshman year and the girls are amazing. I think that this would be a great venue if the tournament is not held in Colorado.

Formal plans unveiled for "Real City" in Sandy, Utah
Stadium plans are unveiled
'Soccer City': The RSL owner has big plans, including youth practice fields and commercial development
SANDY - If Real Salt Lake and its owner, Dave Checketts, can't be in downtown Salt Lake City, they will build downtown in suburbia.
Plans for a 25,000-seat stadium in Sandy - made official Wednesday - are just the beginning for Checketts. He also is dreaming big with ideas for housing, shopping and dining along with practice fields, open space and hotels.

Jordan High School Stadium is north of the white buildings in the upper right corner of the picture. Juan Diego High School Studium is 3/4 of a mile south, with a full Nexturf field. How about the 2008 USL-MDIA Tournament in Utah? By the way D. Checketts son Ben is a freshman attackman at BYU.

Between Minneapolis (again) or Dallas. Bids are in. If the Dallas bid is acceptable, USL staff plus a few of our EB will do a site visit in the coming weeks to help make a final decision.

I grew up in Dallas, and now I live in Minneapolis. My vote goes for Minneapolis. Dallas will be warmer, but they also tend to get some severe storms during that time. Also the Texas heat might make it unfair for some teams to compete. Do not tell me it will not be that hot, because it very well could get up there. Lacrosse might not happen there. I think the Dallas night life is a little lacking and the city is spread out which makes it difficult to get around. The advantage with moving it to Dallas might be the quality of the fields. There are plenty of places with great fields in the Dallas area. The fields in Blaine are not bad, but the fields in the South are awesome. I think it would be wise to give Minnesota one more shot then switch the tournament if people still want to move it.

Bump this topic up.
Interesting that USL is having trouble sticking to a deadline they set.
Are they unhappy with the bids they received?
Are they fishing for a better deal?
