I see Emory, Clemson, App State and SCAD are coming to Atlanta this weekend to play in the Atlanta tournament. Best of luck you all as you face 4 post-collegiate teams with many ex-MDIA players from GT, Auburn, Tenn, UF etc....
Have fun, weather should be nice... and beware of the super-sized LSM running for Southern Empire... I will be that guy plus an oxygen tank strapped to my back

this past weekend I got to see SCAD, App State, Clemson and Emory play. I know its fall but I saw some great things.
In fact, App State handed Southern Empire (mens club team in Atl) its first loss in the tournament is many many years (9-8). Kudos to them, even though the re-match on Sunday did work nearly as well (15-0). SCAD was there early and all geared up all weekend but showed some mistakes young teams make. They are on the right track though. Emory showed all sorts of heart and determintation playing hard all weekend hustling all over the field. Clemson showed some talented players and I think Buff will not take long getting these guys back to the top of the A Division.
Great to see you all this weekend and I hope you all had fun and learned some things.

I was definitely impressed by App State and Clemson. (I didn't see Emory or SCAD play.)
Both ASU & Clemson are improved over what I saw from them last season. ASU could run with (& probably beat) many SELC Division A programs. ASU beat Clemson in OT on Saturday in a great (intense) game. ASU then beat Clemson again on Sunday by two (I think).

Thanks.
Try ron@stickheadlacrosse.com - He runs the indoor league up there and I think it's the same guy that runs the club team. If not he should have the contact info.
