Again their at Mizzou, I can't remember where we stayed last year but it wasn't bad.
Again, even though I'm not there, Hawkins needs to shell out the cash for some good BBQ

I agree it would make a lot more sense to have it in StL, seeing as there are already 3 teams there and its pretty close to the middle for MOST teams, but I'd have to say, yes its at Mizzou cause thats where Hawkins is and he is the one that arranges the meeting. If you want it changed have your representative bring it up at the meeting this weekend.

An e-mail from Kyle Hawkins, Commissioner, GRLC:
"From the East (St. Louis, etc) Take I-70 west to Columbia. Take the exit for Highway 63, and take a left (South). Proceed 2 exits to Stadium Blvd. At Stadium, exit and take a right (West). Proceed about 3 miles to College Avenue (there will be a light). Take a right (North) on College to the first light which is Rollins. Take a left (west) on Rollins. The first street on your right is Hitt Street. At the NW corner of Hitt and Rollins is visitor parking (no meter on Sundays). Just a block north of the parking lot on Hitt Street is the Memorial Union (It looks like a big old rock gothic church with a square spire with a clock on it). Go directly under the clock tower and enter the door that says "Memorial Union North". A representative of Missouri Lacrosse will be just inside the door to direct you to the Great Hall."

Actually, the league meeting is held at MU every year because it is a central meeting point for the entire league. Albeit 3 teams are in ST. Louis, but what about the teams in Neb., or SD or Iowa or Arkansas or KS or even some in Ill. Why should all of those drive just that much farther to host it in STL for the benefit of a few teams? It is the center point of the league and MU has been kind enough to host it. There are plenty of cheap hotels very close, there's parking and a good facility to host in. There's no reason to move it so long as MU will continue hosting.

Just curious as to whether any minutes of the meeting will be posted anywhere, or if not is there a way that I could get a copy of them. Just like to keep up to date with the goings on in the conference
