Hey mhotlz were are looking into trying out the mysportsdream.com fundraiser. I was wondering how well it's working out for your team and how much work and time it takes. Let me know how it works.

What about Chico's Bail Bonds?

What we have done at Augustana College is begun to seel squares on our fan t-shirts, similar to what fraternities and sororities do. We also are taking donations and then allow donors to hang their company signs at our games.

Each school and/or conference has to approve this. Our school is fine with it.

Hi,

I am writing to you at the suggestion of Sonny Pieper. You posted a query a few months back about how to help your lax team reaise money.

My company -- My Sports Dreams -- is the offical fundraiser of the USLIA (and 9 other national sports associations, including the IWLCA).

We are presently working with a number of USLIA member clubs, including Missouri, Wisconsin, Purdue, Eastern Michigan, Minnesota-Duluth, Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount.

Our fundraising system is executed through the mail and takes most teams about 30 minutes from start to finish. Groups of 20-30 guys should be able to raise around $5,000 and there is no upfront payment or financial risk of any kind.

If you would like more detailed information, please give me a call at 800-376-5988 or shoot me an email at 800-376-5988.

Thanks, Jon Goldman

- Cleaned up Carver Hawkeye Arena after basketball and wrestling.
- Set up the gymnastics tumbling mat for their home meets and take it down afterwards.
- Shagged balls for both field hockey and soccer
- Tarp crew at men's baseball.

They have even moved away from doing things with clubs as they are not dependable yet they still call us as they know we will do about anything and we do good work. We once had to clean up the basketball arena with a sorority and you can guess who did majority of the work yet we had to split the money with them.

Plus it gets you "in" with the athletic department. We still get treated like crap majority of the time by the school but we still get treated a little better compared to other club teams on campus. We usually get one of the first request for use of our bubble for games.

Monmouth is a small school (1300 or so), and what we have done so far this year is 50/50 raffles (really 75/25). That got us about $600. We sold um $1 apiece or 5 for $4. Every once in awhile we will do dorm storms (just go door to door asking for $), and those usually get us 40 or 50 dollars per dorm. We have 200 people per dorm, so about 25 cents per person. Its not much, but I did it twice in my dorm, and that is paying for my jerseys this year.
