Love em or hate em, Mickey Miles Felton was ahead of his time with the LaxCats uniform designs at the U of Arizona.

I like the ones BYU is using this year... nice classic look, and way better than the awful ones they had last year.

BYU messed up a few years ago too when they had a "bib" style uniform in which their navy blue uniforms had a giant white bib that covered the chest and stomach area. The NCAA eventually said they were not game ready because the majority of the home jersey was not the dark color. Thank god because those things were hideous...

p.s. On a side note, give me classic Penn State anyday.

I have to agree with lil lady lax fan about the leather helmets. Bring back those kinds of uni's that those guys wore millions of years ago.

If these guys just switched to leather, they'd be set...

Your Kent football team is what I like the best so far- keep it simple.

It's tougher than you'd think. The kids every year want to switch uniforms, add blue pants, put decals on the helmets, etc etc. Nobody appreciates the simplicity until they're older I guess?

I though Wisconsin's throwback helmets they are going to wear this year that was in that ESPN article are pretty ugly:

That is why I am all for simplicity! We need something that is pleasing to our eyes when watching the games. I can not imagine during the heat of the moment in the game where two football players stand around and chatting with each other while they are admiring each other's corporate logos sewn on all over their uni's.

I can also imagine all those chatterboxes in the TV studios comment on the throwbacks on the helmets, on the uni's, etc. Why can't all those publicity and marketing whizs keep everything simple?? Will Terry Bradshaw ever care to comment on that??

I am now getting off my soapbox and going back to work. Walking away...

I hate to say it, but Wisconsin's not the only group with ugly helmets...
