smart move for them I think...they are pretty much outta the way for everyone in the RMLC and they are caught in the middle of that Div. A/B bubble, but they kinda seem to be a better fit as a Northwest team....

Well, they may officially want to move, but it hasn't happened yet. The PNCLL will have to vote BSU into the league first, and the vote will take place late September at the AGM.
I am not on the Board, but from discussions we had when the A/B split happened, I strongly doubt they will be division B. Idaho played in division A, and they were a first year team. At best next season, they will be a probationary team in the PNCLL, which is what we require of first year teams. If they don't get it, they may be an independant.
I'm still curious why exactly they would want to change Conferences (any answers)? They'll probably have to answer that at the league meeting. If the reason was taking lumps from teams like CSU, CU, & BYU, they're still going to play teams like SFU and Oregon. Oregon State will be much improved also and may be able to give the same type of beatings over the next few years.

It means they wouldn't be part of the PNCLL, if they could still schedule with the RMLC, they may be able to stay in the RMLC.
With all of that said, I don't see a lot of reasons to not admit BSU, but anything is possible. I'm sure it will have a lot to do with their presentation.

Independent
I'm sure another member of the MDIA BOD will correct me if I'm wrong, but you cannot be an independent in the MDIA. You must be in a conference.

That's what I'm trying to say. They'd be independent, not affiliated with the MDIA. They would end up conferenceless, and therefore out of the MDIA.
