Texas featured in ESPN's 50 States in 50 Days

Wanted to know what you Texans thought about the feature on Sport's Center today. I personally thought the tanker surfers was a bit silly, but it seems they are trying to have one focus on an little known activity (sport or not…the Louisiana focus will be a duck calling contest). So, what did you guys think?

BTW- Tivoing Sport Center allows me to watch the program in 20 min. I just skip through commercials, all the baseball diving catches (yawn) and TO’s nonsense.

 Surfing in one of the most crowded shipping channels is probably the most disgusting thing I have ever heard of (reminded me of Cosmo Kramer going swimming in the East River.) yuck.
I am not sure that ESPN did Texas a favor by showing the country this aspect of Texas sports/life. However, I was glad that they interviewed the Permian High School QB, Stone from 1998. That was pretty cool, but nowadays lots of other HS's are the real competitors in 5A HS Football. Overall, I was pretty disappointed by their selections, and I have to agree with all the attention placed on TO (boring).

I agree about TO. I think Peyton Manning said it best, "I want to see more about the Giants"......

You know the great thing about working nights is that ESPN shows sportcenter 8 times during the evening.

You know what that means, there is really nothing on after midnight.

Unless you like infomercials or playing of movies that no one has ever heard of.
