This is an article about a group protesting military funerals. I have a brother who is a Marine and so I really had to think about this. They do have free speech but I really struggle to find it appropriate at a funeral. What do you all think?

imho, this is borderline treason (which is not protected by first amendment rights). this reminds me of when soldiers were spit on returning from vietnam. people need to respect the soldiers even if they dont agree with what they were doing.

Unfortunately it doesn't sound like they were on church property. Someone may want to speak to the property owners across the street from the church to make sure that this doesn't happen again, or see if the group was trespassing during their protest. It would certainly serve the group right if they were slapped with a citation!!!!
