Tommorows championship has returning champions GB lax as slight favorites.... their team is laced with DI talent and talented high school all-stars. Big D has a great defense and an amazing attack but can the very thin squad hold up against a very deep GB lax team who is looking to show everyone that they are truely the team to beat. We shall see...

Sidenote: Kudo's to all the LA lax pelican's who came in from outta state to play in our fine tournament. We honor you as our first out of state team to grace our tournament .... hopefully there will be more to follow suit.

Again

Postby Mikeylacrosse03 on Mon Aug 01, 2005 9:26 am

Once again you guys put on a good and clean tournament. Very well organized. Its always to work hard during the summer now because of this tournament. Only thing i think needs to be changed is some teams picking up players for the championship game or other games. ::coughDALLAScough::

But it was alot of fun and thank you for putting it on again. Hopefully every year you guys will do this.

Great Tourney! Thanks for all the teams that made the trip and enjoyed the HOT Texas heat. Final Top 4 Standings from the 8 team tourney:

1. GB Lax
2. Big D/Dallas Men's
3. Team Viva
4. San Antonio

As mentioned in a previous post, great talent in the championship game between GB Lax and Big D/Dallas Men's. Lots of players came in for this tourney to play with friends who have since transplanted to Texas, therefore lots of back east talent with nice lax resumes on a couple of the teams.

Looking forward to next year already!

Im pretty sure BigD came into the tournament without a full team. I received a call about 4 oclock on friday to come down and play, so im sure they were pretty needy if they called me
