My turn

Postby Dan Wishengrad on Tue Jul 05, 2005 7:39 pm

First three characters I tried it got easily, but i stumped it with Kramer's mom, Babs, from Seinfeld.

By the way, you are supposed to pick characters from a sitcom, not from a TV drama. If you don't know the difference, you probably shouldn't be allowed to play...

Stumped it with General Burkhalter from Hogan's Heroes. It's not infallible.

Rats! thought I had it again with one of the two Darryl brothers from Newhart, but it got it after a long Q&A, finally made me choose one of them with "Does he speak?" and I had to pick one of them, chose the silent one by mistake LOL

By the way -- was there EVER a better ending to a sitcom than that show? He wakes up in bed with Suzannah Pleshette from the much earlier "The Bob Newhart Show", and "Newhart" turns out to have been just a dream... classic!

CATLAXMAN you and I may be the only two readers of this forum old enough to even remember "Hogan's Heroes"

Count me in. Carter was my favorite character. I also used to watch Star Trek in Prime Time... and, sad to say, the Brady Bunch. I'm not going to say how old I was at the time, though!
