Haven't they only played once? i think it would take more than once to even consider it developing...

As far as the B-Division goes. In the LSA Southwestern U versus UTA is always a pretty close heated competition.

UTA has played some tough OOC opponents, the best games being UTA-Harding. Harding is a fiery team that plays very well. It could be a developing Rivalry in the future should the teams continue to play.

But overall best MDIA rivalry in the past couple of years would have to be CSU and UCSB.

OU-Texas best college rivalry in sports.
Duke-UNC close 2nd.

Outside of the "Red River Valley" it's not even close to topping UNC-Dook!

I have to say that the UCSB-CSU matchup at the Home Depot Center was a true reflection of that, not only between the players but the fans as well!! Some interesting verbal exchanges up in the stands...

CSU and UCSB have played a lot of big games recently, and if my memory serves me correctly they have been pretty close games.
