Atlanta Summer League

For anyone interested there is a summer league in Atlanta in which you get to witness such fine athletes as myself play... :lol:

Seriously though, there is a competitive league here in town that plays weekdays at some fields about 12 miles from downtown in Dekalb County (where I-285 and I-20 meet on the east side of town).

sign ups are going on now and will fill up quickly. there are some great players here in Atlanta from MDIA and NCAA schools. Many former all americans and a few players of the year from D1.

like ken says, he is a fine athlete. it is worth the money, and putting up with the constant razzing from ken, just to see him run around.

go to their web site and drop them an e-mail. The league is 2 weeks into the season but their might be room for one more. Just shoot them a e-mail.

there should def. be room for more than one more. that league, while full on paper, never has enough people that actually SHOW up. i have that problem on my team last summer constantly.

i say give it a shot.

If any goalies in the area are lookin for something to do, by all means contact the league (www.doublestixxlacrosse.com) and play. Seems like there is a shortage of goalies lately.
