A fascinating piece of lax sculpture

Postby Brent Burns on Fri Jun 17, 2005 8:57 pm

Gotten permission from Laxpower to post the pictures below and also got permission from this person who goes by LaxSculptor at Laxpower.com. He explained that his lax sculpture is made from 14 broken heads that he collected over the years. It is 31"h x 26"w and it hangs. He is just fresh out of Hartwick College; he played lax there for 4 years. He did let me give out his name- Travis White. If you have questions about his lax sculpture, you can PM him over at Laxpower.

Here are the two pictures-

Wow...those are pretty impressive. I just give my broken heads to my dog and he usually takes care of them.

haha I used to give my old gloves to my dogs, until they stopped distinguishing between old and new gloves. No more gloves for dogs.

Nice sculpture though.

that is incredible, but how is it so white if is constructed out of old broken heads? i think he bought them all for the sculpture and is embarrassed to admit it.

Those are all used and broken sticks...there is about 14 heads in their and to buy new ones just to make the sculpture is very costly. It looks so bright because of the flash from the camera and i also painted it white.
