Well with the upcoming release of Arena League Football by EA sports, one can only assume, maybe hope that a lacrosse game cannot be far behind.

I'm guessing (as a programmer here) that its much easier to turn an NFL or NCAA football game into an arena football game, than to turn it into a lacrosse game.
the rules are all basically the same, so they re-use a bunch of the programming.

. . . or soccer, basketball, etc . . . really it would be an amalgomation of a bunch of types of games. Complicated, but certainly doable. I'm thinking that once they got the basic engine down, it would be pretty easy for them from year to year. Problem is that initial effort on the first version.
Always on point . . .
