PNCLL Alumni Team - Victoria Tournament
Things are looking uncertain at this point, to say the least. Everyone is quick to say "I'm in." But not so quick to send a check.
As of now, 4 people have sent them in. I'm getting ready to call it off unless some miracle happens and we have 85-90% of the checks by the end of the week. Instructions for the checks, the amount and the mailing address can be found earlier in this thread.

Fellas...c'mon...it's only $185!! It's not like Vail where it's $400 PLUS airfare. This really should not be that difficult. Get your checks in...I want to make this happen!

$63
For those of you not receiving team emails, it is now $63 per person. Hotels are now your responsibility.
Email me with your info, and I will add you to the list/give you an update.

Harmon,
I haven't been able to get a hold of Gus or Adam, but they'll both be at the PNLA Championship on Sunday. Hopefully we'll see you there, and can take care of everything. Scott, will be there also, so will Johnson.

Summer Slam a no go....
Just got this forwarded to my email...
To all my Lacrosse friends
It's a sad day in the Lacrosse world today...
The 2005 Victoria Summer Slam has to be postponed until next year.
For the past three years, we have strived to provide you with some of the best Lacrosse Victoria could offer. And over those three years, we've seen the Summer Slam progress into a fantastic tournament. With the Venue, the weather and the Lacrosse, people have been talking about our tournament all across North America.
This year however, we have run into some unexpected situations in our scheduling, that has resulted in us not being able to host the tournament in the same fashion that you have become accustomed to. We do not want to hold a tournament that isn't the best that we could offer. The 'Organizers' do apologize to you all, as we are all avid Lacrosse players and fans, and to see this hiatus hits us hard in our hearts as we truly love the game and our Tournament.
We want to make this promise to you all...
WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR!!!
We need to make some changes in our plans to be able to come back to the level that the Summer Slam should be. I encourage you all to let us know how we can make this a better tourney. Ideas from dates, to venues, to activities to the game; we want to hear from you so we can ensure that our summers are never again without the Victoria Summer Slam.
Yours in Lacrosse

Tourney
According to WALAX.com the Tahoe tourney is full already, but because the Victoria Tourney has been cancelled there will be a tourney to replace it the same weekend at Kasche Park in Everett north of Seattle.
Maybe this one will work for the PNCLL team?

Well, either way...we need to get on this soon so I can cancel reservations and make new ones. Tahoe is out of the question for me, but something in Everett would work. Dan, any details on this new tourney or should I just check out walax?

20 bucks. 4 games. 2 days. but they're drawing/drafting teams. i.e. six pre-determined captains pick their teams, like you would in a grade school pe class. sounds kindof butch. they should just take the teams that were already planning on going to the summer slam tourney...
