At Lindenwood we are only graduating 1 starter and he was a defenseman. We have already signed 2 Division 1 transfers and are working on a third. One of them is an attackman from St. Johns in New York and the other is a midfielder from Butler. The third possible recruit is a pole from Butler. We also have a lot of talented in coming freshman.

The only other A division team in LA that they didn't have listed was USC. I was simply pointing out that there are some quality B teams as well as the A division teams that they might consider if they were not able to schedule something with USC. I might also point out that the A division teams that play Claremont and Pepperdine don't seem to view those games as a blot on their schedule strength.
Instead of dissing the B teams maybe you should give them some credit for their hard work and willingness to compete with the 'big boys.'

I noticed that Andrew Schroeder from Wildwood, MO/Lafayette has Lindenwood listed as his college in the senior showcase list. Is he one of your recruits?

The game with UVSC was as close as it could have possibly been... it went into OT. UVSC went on to lose to San Diego by 3 in the championship game. IUP would be a good team in the national tourney as well. Next year it will be fun to see them compete in the conference tourney and possibly get into the national tournament.
Have you guys considered coming out to the LA area during your spring break? All of the B teams in the WCLL are in the LA area, or fairly close by (ie San Diego and Irvine). I know that Fort Lewis, Western State, and MIT (div. III) did that this year. It was really great to see some of the OOC talent. Another bonus is the weather--or usually that's the case.
Michigan State is coming to LA. We have games tentatively scheduled with Chapman, UCLA, and LMU.
lmu = loyola marymount?
yep

We have to play a certain number of out of conference A games each year in order to be considered for an at large bid to the big dance. It's not that we disrespect B teams, it's that we have to fill all those slots in our schedule. The WCLL A teams seemed very willing to help us out in getting A teams scheduled, and we are thankful for that.

Oh, I wasn't implying that you were dissing the B teams. That comment was directed to another on the board.
Being a relative newby to the sport I was unfamiliar with how y'all set up your schedules, or if you even played B teams. I knew the A teams here do. I just thought I'd throw that idea into the mix in case you were looking to line up any additional games while in the area, and those two B teams might give you a bit of a run for your money (no matter what Bentiss might think... ).
Thanks for the clarification on how you schedule things. Still looking forward to seeing y'all play.

We usually schedule a B team as the last home game of the season. This gives us an oppurtunity to play our seniors that don't get a lot of playing time.

Who are you looking at this year? If you want them to go out with a bang I say go with Calvin or IUP, but I'm sure you already know that...
I would love to see a matchup between either of those teams and the Cougars (Claremont). Claremont is only losing two guys so they should have a good squad next year.

Oakland is only losing Binge and Koseck. The rest of the team is returning and from what I understand they have a good class coming in. Since lacrosse is growing so quickly in Michigan now I would say that Oakland is going to become one of the powers not only in the CCLA but also in the USLIA. Losing Binge will hurt but I don't think they are going to fall off like people think. I know Towbey could probably comment better on his team coming back though. I have no idea about Indiana.

msu vs. calvin or iup
it would have been great to see a calvin vs. msu matchup last season.
I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is the moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle-victorious.
