I would just like to wish A.J. Stevens and the Illini the best of luck in the coming years, he inherits a great group of experienced underclassmen, and I fully expect him to take his players and the Illinois Men's Lacrosse organization to the next level. Hopefully I can groom some high school players in the Chicago area and send them down to Champaign to help him out.

I would like to thank the other teams and coaches in the GRLC for making my one year head coaching stint at the University of Illinois a enjoyable experience and for the class and respect everyone in the GRLC showed each other and me. Of course thanks to my team, but they heard all that already. Also thank you to Lindenwood and Washington University for hosting the conference lpayoffs, it was a great weekend of lacrosse.

Thanks,
Brady Sullivan

Not sure where I will be teaching just yet, I am in the application process and Chicago Public Schools are still in session, so they won't be hiring for a few more weeks. I plan on going back to Lane Tech to coach lacrosse, I was the defensive coach there in 2003 and 2004. Its tough in the city where few players have played before and we have no JV, just varsity, but the kids are great and work hard. I also imagine I will go back to work for Lacrosse America on teh side, I coached the Barrington area freshman allstars last summer and would have again this summer if not for conflicts with some summer workshops I am doing.

Just make sure to send a random good player or two to Iowa, possibly a goalie?

Coach Stevens

Congratulations to the Illini in hiring Coach Stevens. I can say that I'll miss crossing the box with Coach Sullivan. However, this seems to be a good move for the Illini.

Best wishes to all,
Troy Hood
