Virginia vs Navy Scrimmage

Virginia also looks really weird in the Red Gait helmets this year. I am use to Maryland wearing them but mixture of switching to red helmets then CPro 2s to Gait is big swtich in just look department.

Yes UVA looks awful in the orange gait helmets. Johnny Christmas continues to be the biggest bust in lacrosse history.

The more you look at this play, the more it looks like that guy just missed the goal. I saw it on e-lacrosse and thought the same thing. Mad respect for Russell, though, he plays my type of game. Unorthodox and getting hit in the knees a lot!

It's hard to see for sure, but it looks to me that Russell bats the ball away. Navy will have their hands full without Dingman this year, but I'm still rooting for them and CATLAXer Ben Horn to win it all this year.

Yeah, he is still around. They moved him to middie late last year to try and get him more looks. I read somewhere he is back at attack and looking better then last year but not as good as he was 2 years ago.

I like that the UVA shooter just runs after the ball with head down knowing he had no chance to score because they have the worst helmets ever and Matt Russel completely owned his soul because Matt Russel was born in Pittsburgh and I'm running out of ideas. Furthermore, Matt Russel is legit while Johnny Christmas is the biggest bust ever and Alex Smith was the best club goalie ever!!!!

The new helmets arent great, but that is because they are now sponsored by Debeer.

Christmas is playing attack now with a nasty frosh Rubeor, and jr (2nd team AA)Matt Ward. Yveoli is taking a medical redshirt because of a serious back injury.

UVA definitely blew it this year on the uniform.

And I'm not sure what is going on with Christmas but I'd have to agree that he DID NOT live up to the hype. People were predicting the next best thing since sliced bread when he was getting recruited out of PA. He showed up at UVA and still created a lot of buzz in the media and the community, but since then he's been a real no show.

Maybe this year he can go out on a high note (is he a senior already)?

Fella's? Did we all major in fashion design? I would wear an elf costume to play in a meaningful lacrosse game again, not to mention all these guy's gear is free along with thier tuition. No to start an arguement, but who was UC's goalie from like 2-3 years ago, he made more of an impression on me than CSU's. (yes, yes I know we lost to both teams, before anyone goes there)
