Long stick with ridiculously large armpads for the position

Yes I do like the uniforms, and the gloves even though they are older models. I wonder what their opinion of the riddel helmets are.

Any word on the Cal Poly uniforms Alex?

I must admit that was the best part of your season review, if not the best part of any season review ever.

What do you guys think about our new threads?

I think they turned out pretty well, especially the away darks. Gloves got held up in production but will be in soon.

unis

Postby Dan Wishengrad on Mon Feb 07, 2005 2:58 am

Both UCLA and USC's look great... well except for the grey undershirt hanging out on the Trojan. White would look better for team undergarments. I like the clean, classic look of both. All hail and let the the retro era of simplicity begin.

UW's gloves may have finally arrived, I'll find out tomorrow. The Huskies have gone to a simple white on white for home unis which look pretty good too.

riddell helmets

Postby thelastmohican on Mon Feb 07, 2005 12:31 pm

I saw the UCLA-CAL game and I have to say, I like the UCLA Riddell helmets. Not only are they more protective (being made by a company that manufactures football helmets) but they are also painted with gold flake, just like the UCLA football helmets; it makes them shimmer in the sun that much more. Gloves are pretty sick too.

Lots of teams in UMLL have new uniforms this year. I'll try to post pics/links when available.

Iowa got some new white/home jerseys. They are not as cool as the black/gold away ones but they much better then the old white home ones they use to have:

They also got new black and gold CPX helmets.

I am really down for Iowa's helmets. They give me the impression of what a Pittsburgh Steelers lax helmet would look like.

they should take it a step further and lose the 2 vent hole covers on the sides and just have one down the middle. that would be very steelersesque
