When's the last time East beat Plano in a Varisty game? 8)

Hasn't happened yet. Best game was last year when East was up 2 with about 3 minutes to play and ended up losing at the last second.

I remember how much it sucked playing defense in that game as we were standing at the midfield line the whole game with the occasional ball come rolling out only to be kicked/hit back to our midfield. I miss scores of 26-3.

To answer that I'd have to bust out the ole stone tablets of the city of Plano lacrosse history. Sadly, I for one don't have access to such material. I, however, do not miss sitting at attack being lonely and watching Plano play catch for 2 hours. The last time I played against them I got knocked out at the end of the second period. (after the whistle, but that's another story - those days are done with) Anywho, while I must refrain from taking pleasure in Plano's poor luck, it is nice to see East and West continuing to build their programs up. Oooh! I remember now. The last time East beat Plano was... never! Unless you count that scrimmage, at the place, in that field, with those players, on that day, that one time. :D

Actually, I am happy for growth of lacrosse at both East and West. Like to see them do well except when playing my Wildcats. Atleast we didn't go/play at Jesuit...........(even if they did beat us every year :x )

How long has Stratford (near Houston) been around?

According to Laxpower they've been playing Varsity games since 2002 where they went 1-11. So I don't know how many years they played JV games or practiced prior to playing Varsity. They went 2-10 in 2003, and 5-6 last year.

2002 was also St. Anthony's first year to play. I know they started in 2001, then began Varsity games in 2002. They went 4-4-1 in 2002. They were 10-1 in 2003 and were 16-2 last year losing to Westside by one in the DII State Championship game.

Stratford was 14-0 this year but didn't really test themselves against any DI opponents. I'm not sure how they'll fare. I don't think they'll beat Plano East. St. Anthony's will have their hands full with Plano West. They have some really talented players, including University of Denver recruit Eric Covey, but not sure they have enough depth.

I am curious as to how many guys from Plano West and Plano East will be playing for which LSA teams next year. Still a pipeline to Texas Tech, huh? 8)
