Probably a stand up guy? To be completely honest you should all hope that you have near the integrity I have seen from working with him this year. So far I haven't seen it from ISU and as you said "see other posts".
Sorry Matt that was probably borderline.

The decision was made as an executive board. Not just one man trying to "benefit" from a decision.

If you have a problem, file a formal complaint to the executive board. If you want some impartial person to receive it you can send it to me. My email is cjwilhelmi@yahoo.com

I don't see how this is good for the conference to air our "dirty laundry" on the boards.

allright im supposed to be writing a paper, but ill digress...ive never met the Mr. Douglas, ill take your word that he is a stand up guy. thats not the point. our point is that how can this decision be made in one single case, when USD and Dordt have the same problem but get no consideration. it should be an all or nothing type of deal. SMS and Mizzou are closer to St. Louis why couldnt they move up and play an early game to help out. It seems we are the only people who can accomodate for anything. anyone want to explain that?

I dont usually post on this message board because im not a fan of anonymous name calling and endless cutting and pasting to point out spelling errors, not to mention i feel thet the frequent "posters" on this site are more concerned with "burning" other players than they are with developing the integrity of our conference. However i do not understand the time change. Three weeks in st. louis is our fault, the fact that wash u gets to play their friday playoff game at home was just luck it was not planned, and i dont think for a second that coach bifulco is changing the game time to benefit his team. But why is ISU inheriting Creightons problems with only a day and a half to deal with them? I am completely sympathetic with Creightons problems with class, travel, etc. But they have known since at least monday that they would be playing on friday at 4:30, why was this issue not addressed untill wensday? In addition their executives should have at least considered the possiblity that they would not be a one or two seed, the playoff schedule has been released for some time now and we have all known that friday afternoon games are a possiblity. We have the exact same difficulties with getting out of class and arranging travel, now we have very little time to deal with them. As of now we are playing wash U at wash U, a disadvantage in itself, without a first and third line middie, a starting long pole, and my only assistant coach. We are being given less time to deal with the same exact problems? I was told that the problem was that their players would have to leave at 3 different times to make the game. Well, at least everyone would make it. I have at least 3 hard working, dues paying players that will not be able to attend the event that they have been working for for 8 months now. So when all of you reply to point out my spelling errors or my lack of intelligence for attending illinois state (cum laude, academic all american, four year deans and chancellors list), please also include an answer as to why handing Creightons problems over to us two days before the playoffs....THE PLAYOFFS....is justified. I just cant understand the reasoning behind this decision, but maybe its just my poor education.

I have heard that coach hawkins does not allow his players to post here and i am starting to completely understand why. Illinois State Players please stop geting drawn into this debate. we are a stand up squad and i think our opposing coaches would back that up. Let your executive board handle this situation, your only job is to perform on the field, even if it is short handed and minus your only assitant coach.

And this post is officially done, this is getting tiresome and should be handled off the board.
