Georgia respect?

Has Georgia gained respect of the league and the selc and do they deserve to be ranked in the top 25?

after being preseason ranked 12th in the selc, UGA finished third. UGA beat Florida in double overtime on friday and beat Georgia Tech by one on sunday (both ranked in the top 25 by laxpower). Georgia also played a close game with FSU (ranked in the top 10) and lost 8-11.

i would say without a doubt, yes. they kinda snuck under the radar all season and had a great weekend in atlanta.

Excellent season by the UGA lacrosse team. In reality though- who cares what the polls say? I watched the games and the UGA team played as well as i have ever seen them. All that really matters is that those players on the field know that they are a competitive squad and played their butts off. Congrats on a great season Dawgs!!!

By finishing in 3rd place in the SELC we should crack the top 25. But to climb higher in the polls for next we year, we will try to get some out of conference games with teams that finish in the top 25 this year.

what we have here my friends is a bargain. the bet is top 20 not 25. for all three colors, your on!

i think with a better season and tougher schedule a 3rd place in the selc.org would warrant a top 20 ranking. next year i see you all being a heck of a team in the league.

beating ill would have put you guys in the top 20 after that game, that loss hurt because it was your first real challenge after people had started to notice all the wins.
