I like how two of the honorable mentions are guys from elon that got the awards for positions they did'nt even play - also both of those guys quit halfway through the season - if guys from our team who only played half the season and then quit got all selc honorable mentions for positions they dont even play you'd think our starters would get at least a little more love.

I don't know who this guy plays for, but he doesn't play for SCAD, just for the record.

all could have been taken care of if elon would have responded to the coach's nomination ballot.

i believe a lot of the voting is done by jersey numbers so if jerseys were switched during the season this could have been the cause.

we made sure to keep the jerseys in order so that probably was'nt it if it was though - could whoever is in charge please give me those numbers and I will find out who really should be in those spots.

Elon Lax:
I still think you guys have one of the best teams in the conference but you need a regular Coach to oversee your program. Last year you had the same issue when only 1 guy from Elon made the All Conference Team. You have to have a responsible person or Coach take care of these team nominations if you want the right people selected.
It is just my opinion and I know you guys will be in the run for the Division B title next year. best of luck to you.

thanks john - I realize that we do need to address that problem in the future but right now I would just like to help fix the current problem - if anyone could tell me how those two guys I refered to got nominated - just trying to get the right guys their recognition

2 ways:
1. Votes from oppoising coaches on the coaches report they must fill out following each game.
2. Your coach's submission. We ask each coach to submit 6 players for nomination at the end of each season. If you fail to do so, it does not help us or your team to get recognized.
This is a topic for discussion for our summer meeting. We have a new plan we think will work better.
