Aren't the admission prices double if you want to see both games?

Mr. Brittain,

No they are not. I went over this with you on the phone last week and I posted a response in a different thread as well.

Do you need me to clear this up again? If so you know my number and you can call me again.

Again the Full day prices are:
$15 for adults
$10 for children

Is it $15 to see both games or $15 for the weekend?

My point is that if you're going to post information, post it all, not just some of it, so people are not caught by surprise.

As evidenced by the above question, people still don't know what the complete story is. It is $15 per day if you want to see both games.

I hope they are not charging players involved in the Final Four to see the other games.

No, they are not. According to Steve Dini, every player will get a laminated credential to wear around the neck which is good for all events.

Does anyone know if they have stands at the field or should chairs be brought?

There are metal bleachers on one side of the field: perhaps sufficient seating for 700 people maybe more. When it is cold out one tends to become chilled there due to the heat conductivity of metal, maybe the opposite problem on a hot day. Other than that it is a wonderful venue; when one looks from the stands beyond the field of play they are greeted by a sylvan tree filled horizon. :P

Agreed. I thoroughly enjoyed putting my football helmet/shoulder pad into Ken Dorsey's back on that field back in HS. ahhh, the good ole days (do I sound like Al Bundy?) :)

Too bad Miramonte pounded us anyways...

2005 WCLL Championship Weekend
April 30th and May 1st
UC Santa Barbara – Chico State
Sonoma State - UC San Diego
University of San Diego – Claremont College
Sponsored By Oakland Automotive Center

The Biggest Lacrosse Weekend to Date

This weekend, the University of California Men’s Lacrosse program is hosting the 2005 Western Collegiate Lacrosse League (WCLL) Championship Weekend at Miramonte high school in Orinda, California. On April 30th and May 1st the six best teams from the WCLL will battle for a chance to go to the National Tournament in Blaine, Minnesota. The WCLL is one of the most competitive conferences in the USL-MDIA with 7 teams ranked nationally in the top 25 including defending national champions, UC Santa Barbara.
Miramonte high school is located in Orinda, California, roughly fifteen minutes east of UC Berkeley off of Highway 24. Provided through the Miramonte Lacrosse Team, the tournament facilities, which just completed renovations, are among the best in the area. Matador Stadium, which will house all the WCLL games, features a brand new Nike Turf field with available seating for over 4,000 spectators. There will be two collegiate games each day starting at 12pm and 3:30pm. The WCLL Division A teams will play their semifinal games on Saturday April 30th. Both the Division A and B teams will play their championship games on Sunday May 1st.
This event will also play host to 66 Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association (NCJLA) teams who will play regular season games on site. Organized by the Lamorinda Lacrosse Club, these NCJLA games provide an excellent opportunity for lacrosse fans to see the future of the game on the West Coast. This is rapidly becoming the biggest lacrosse event in Northern California to date. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the nation and this event will bring the Bay Area into the spotlight as an emerging hot bed for collegiate as well as up-and-coming lacrosse talent.
Our tent city will feature Warrior Lacrosse as our title sponsor and California Lacrosse Company as the weekend vendor. Along with Harrow Sports, Warrior Lacrosse Camps and Nike Lacrosse Camps, they will be showing off their latest in lacrosse gear and programs. Come check out the newest that Cadillac has to offer thanks to Oakland Motors who will be showing off their cars. For those younger players, they can test out individual skills in our fun zone. Stop by the raffle tent for a chance to win anything from a Warrior sweat band to one of eight lacrosse camp scholarships. Finally, help support the growth of Lacrosse in less fortunate communities by visiting the Lax for Life tent.
