So, if we are supposed to nominate 3 players from each team we play after a game, how come this hasnt been happening? We just played Bethel on Sunday and they did have a few standouts on their team.
Attack: #22 was a tall lanky guy who had impressive stick skills trying to get to the net.
Mid: #24 was a good dodger who could let it rip on the run and also shoot from up top
#20 was also a good shooter from the outside
Long Pole Mid: #21 was good on ground balls and even helped to set up the teams offense when he got the ball. Played pretty good one on one D too.
D- None of the defense really stook out-sorry
All Conference?

I not a 100% sure on this, but I bet it is Mike Nagel (a freshman), he is a great athlete and a smart player...I had the pleasure of coaching him at Mounds View (to parallel the HS forum) and I look forward to returning later this spring and coaching with him (he is the JV coach).

Good Coach
He definately has some good leadership qualities. I dont know if they have a coach but if they have one he didnt show up to the game against us. Bethel still put up a great fight and proved to be a much tougher opponent than we'd expected. Without the coach there, the leaders stepped up big and played really well.
PS is there a Long Pole Middie mentioned on all confrence or would he just fit in with the middies?
Id nominate this guy either way.

Here are the guys that I felt made an big impact against us:
Duluth:
John Champ #11
Tom Lauria #46
Nate Goertz #6
(probably some other middies, they all seem to run together)
Dan O'Donnell FOGO
both goalies were solid
UWSP:
Blank
Mankato:
Also a blank
SCSU:
Adam Christianson #7
Iowa State:
Nicholas Brancale #10
Moorhead:
Tyler Bosh
St. Olaf:
Blank
Marquette:
Tim Boraca (Goalie)
Obviously there are other players deserving of recognition, but I do think you have to weigh more heavily how have players played against UMD, U of M and perhaps Point. I dont want to insult any teams when I gave them a blank, it just didnt seem like anyone deserved recognition. Im sure the point attackmen will get some nods for all-conference, they played well against Duluth.

IN A league Eugene Zevelev and Al Kessler of Minnesota were the offensive adn defensive players of the year respectively
and in the B league it was Ben Ivory and Brandon Carlson of St. Johns
If this is known, when will the rest of the teams be known?
Nice season to all and good luck SJU in the nationals!
