ross,

luke is the one who injured his shoulder. he messed up a tendon or something. he's done for the year. its really going to hurt us this weekend. we will be playing with 12 guys and we have three games.

Dordt had several multi-goal scorers and went close to 100% on face-offs thanks to Brad Kuiper and our LSM Ross Van Der Bill.

Ross do you always refer to yourself in third person? 8)

darn, my secret identity has been figured out. no more talking trash about USD behind the cover of my sweet screen name. And dont even respond to that with some comment about you beating us... I see it coming a mile away!

but no, not always. but it was just easier to speak in the third person this time. plus i didnt want to sound like i was pumping my own tire and talking myself up!

Ross, I would never do such a thing. I was just a little confused because I thought only pro wrestlers spoke of themselves in such ways. It's a lose, lose situation if you use "I did well," your patting your own back, directly and if you use "Ross did well," you sound like Brett "the hitman" Heart, which just like any other wrestler toots their on horn until the horn breaks or they are discovered using roids. Don't feel bad, I ruined the "secret identity" of the fat hairy man in the easter bunny costume at the mall too, it's my thing. No hard feelings, just be yourself and people will accept you.

Cornell vs. Dordt

Postby ajack22 on Fri Apr 22, 2005 10:54 am

I we will be able to score 2 and stop Dordt from scoring 25, at least that is our personal goal.

ajack, I assume this is anderjack (sp?) from cornell?

we are still planning on playing next wed. at our place and not at the crossover, right? cause that is what dordt is expecting to do...

and i think it will be a good game, dont sell yourselves short.

exlax4,
What are you doing? Dordt needs to step it up this weekend and win a couple games. You guys have not had a respectable victory yet this season. Is something wrong with your defense?

whoa now, hold the phone.
we have had a bit of a rough stretch the last couple of weeks, true. But they were all good games and came down to the wire. I know, a loss is a loss, but we played well considering some of the holes we have had to fill in our roster this season, especially at attack, D, and our keeper. i would say that we have done a good job of turning a bunch of kids who have never played lacrosse before into a decent unit.

I wont argue with you, Dordt has been off this season. but we do look to get on track this weekend and hope to still be eligible for playoffs too. we'll see how things go.

and come on now, you know i play D, how are you about to hit me low like that (especially since i am pretty sure that i used to be your left wing D-pole)? enjoy my PM DClaxZ.
