I heard of the league possibly talking to some hotels for discounts for CCLA playoffs. Any word on this or any hotels around the area for the trip planners? Help would be great as it is next week. We also need to know about final seedings and times as it is finals week and students have to move out of the dorms.

Here is a link to alisting of Grand Rapids hotels.
http://hotel-guides.us/michigan/grand-rapids-mi-hotels.html
You'll see that most are on 28th Street, which is the commercial strip in Grand Rapids. It's about 10 - 15 minutes from any of these places to the fields.

Game times.
Towbey, the idea is to give those teams that are travelling the farthest the later game times.
So Buffalo would get the late game - the 4 vs. 5 matchup.
CMU vs. the 3 seed the early game.
Same with the B division. Farthest to travel gets the later game (if possible).

teams to nationals from ccla
just using some logic here, but if there are going to be two teams sent to nationals from ccla, think of this scenario, IF pitt beats oakland in the semis, and plays michigan to under ten goals, then shouldnt pitt get the at large bid? here are my reasons, one pitt would be the hotter team going into nationals with a more recent win, and two would have played michigan to a better game than oakland, just using some logic

All up to the pollsters. Especially if any other upsets happen. Since most conferences get an AQ, any conference champions not in the Top 16 bump teams from the Top 16.
At-large bids are always at the mercy of upsets in the conference championships.

As things stand right now in A, it looks like a team will have to be ranked 13th or higher to get an at-large. Of course, that could change with a major upset, but that's probably the magic number.
