Who has been the best player at each position so far in our league? I only know the guys on my team and then a few from the other teams that we've played, but maybe there are some stud players on teams who don't get a lot of attention.

#20 Ben Ivory from SJU at attack
#2 Nic Michaelson from SJU at attack
#5 Brandon Carlson from SJU at defense
#9 Drew Carlson from SJU taking faceoffs

All have been studs for our team this year. Our school paper even wrote an article about Ben Ivory. http://www.csbsju.edu/record/archives/2004-2005/03-17-05/sports/ivory_leads_johnnies_to_no_3.html

Guys that have impressed me from other teams that i watched-
P. Nelson from Umd (A)
Grannes from SCSU (D)
Ziebol and Daehn from UMD (D)
Stuntebeck from UWSP (A)
Goalie from Eau Claire (stephenson) has faces a lot of shots (thats an understatement) and makes excellent saves. Was on fire during the Carelton game.

When we played St. Thomas I was really impressed with #47 on defense and #'s 2 and 23 at midfield (Sorry, I don't know any of their names). This is not to say that everyone else on their team wasn't impressive, but those three really stood out in my mind.

Chris Bender (mid) UWEC. He's the only one on any of our Midfield lines that have played highschool ball, and he makes guys score that haven't even played the game before. Has some great Iso. moves also.

Joe Stepheson (goallie). The only balls that get past him or ones that are less than 10' away, point blank shots. Unfortunatly, it happens often. He's a brick wall.

#16 from NDSU. Our team pounded on him and he kept coming.

Both of Duluth's Goalies are stand-out rookies...

Laurnet and Scheonecker

To go it a program like Duluth and take charge of the defense as a freshman...you gotta be good.

UWEC coach, we have two lines, and subs on those lines. Name the people on those two lines and you have no highschool experience except Bender. It seems like they do, don't they. Gotta love our rookies.

fisher never played ball. central wisconsin doesnt have any teams... he attended a 'camp', but that is a stretch of the word.
