heres the question?? What would you have done if it was one of our players that was hurt and you had extra time to warm up your goalies...would you take the extra 5 minutes to take some shots on them so they were loose for the restart of the game? I think you would. and I dont see how it has anything to do with bad sportsmanship. Now, the comments made after the game to some of me and my fellow players when asking about haugens condition were unsportmanlike. Haugen is a friend of mine, and all I asked was how he was doing....I didnt ask for that perticular players opinion on the entire duluth team, but I sure got it.
Honestly though, you guys really did play well...it would have been interesting if haugen had not been injured, he is a playmaker.

I dont think it was poor performance Chefy they lost a 9-8 game that I heard was great.
They held an outstanding duluth team to 9 goals, and put up 8 while losing one of there main players. Great game minnesota and UMD.
Sounds like we found a new intense rivalry in the UMLL.
I wish more games in our league would be fought this hard, and at this high level of lacrosse excellence.
Good Job to both teams, and i hope the injured player from minnesota gets well in time for the tourny.

I got no problem with Duluth warming up their goalie. Although hearing "we played our worst game and still won" from Dulax players didn't sit so well with me. I thought Duluth played a great game and they came out on top, thats how it goes. However, not having a scorebook was crucial, because Ziebol had over 5 minutes of penalties, and would have been forced to be taken out had the refs been able to keep track. It may or may not have affected the outcome, but he should have been sitting. So its not so inconsequential afterall...
The best part? We get to do it again...I'm sure both teams can't wait

Thanks Lars,
And as to others, think before you post and keep it clean.
The game is over and if the tone of this thread doesn't change it will be as well.

Now i am just hoping for an awesome UMLL A div championship game between UMD and the "U".
What is the rule about issuing penalties/possesion for not being properly prepared for the game ie. book, horn, scorers table, scorers, clock etc etc etc.
