I don't think we have a Div. B at-large this year. I could be wrong and this may have been discussed in a previous poll thread, but there are 8 teams, and 8 conferences with enough teams for an AQ.

After double checking the list of teams, it still shows all conferences with enough teams except for the PCLL.

Can someone also chime in on this subject? I am pretty sure what I said is correct, but I'd like to know for sure.

Fort is actually a good team. There is something seriously wrong with them when they go on the road for some reason, but they are good. it is hard to say a team that is 2-7 could be in the top 25, but we (UVSC) have played many of the teams in the 25 and I would say they should be there. They are dangerous, you never know what kind of game they are going to bring.
It also is interesting to me that the PNCLL has 5 teams in the top 25. we have played a bunch of them, and i've heard that montana is better than we are, and i agree that they have a strong conference...but that seems like a lot of love for one conference. Is western really diserving of a top 25 ranking? To me, it may be the same arguement as Ft. Lewis.

Western Washington lost to highly ranked teams like UPS by a goal twice (one in 3OTs) and twice by two goals to PLU. That's a total of four losses to top 10 ranked MDIA B teams by a combined six goals. The Vikings have an impressive 16-11 win over underrated Whitman. They are definitely ranked about right on Laxpower and in the polls, IMHO. WWU would be dangerous in our playoffs, but because they were only third in our toughest division, they have only a real long-shot to qualify for the post-season (see the PNCLL weekly thread).

Western State college 19, Ft. Lewis 17. huge loss for fort. could give them a first round matchup against montana state or boise st. in the rmlc-b playoffs in a couple weeks.

Why is Boise State playing in the RMLC B Division playoffs? If they were to win, wouldn't the RMLC lose their automatic bid to the national tournament?

Im sorry...I just dont think Fort Lewis has deserved to be in the top 25 sense the first pole of the year. Sure they may have been a good team in the past, but the past is not right now. There are several teams from several conferences that probably deserve the spot in the top 25 more the fort.

I agree that fort shouldn't be in the top 25, but they are still dangerous. The way they beat texas Arl. was impressive, and that is their potential. the loss to western was very sad to see, they can still bring some heat when they want to.
