SELC A Week 12 (Apr 12-19)

Postby OAKS on Sun Apr 17, 2005 9:55 am

neutral site seemed to work well, and there was definitely a large crowd. any thoughts on the size Adam? most of the stands were full - i'd hazard to guess more than a thousand people were there. whe game was in the middle of 6 games during the day - 2 varsity boys games, 2 varsity girls games, and a jv game. it was definitely a great game, and UGA has really improved.

Oaks--I think there were probably around 2,000 spectators throughout the whole day if not more, with a great majority of that crowd for our game. I'll actually call the folks over at Harrison and find out how many tickets they really did sell. They definitely got lucky with a great day of weather.

For me, it was a great atmosphere to play in. The crowd really got into the game. It was definitely a great day of lacrosse as it was an emotional rivalry game for both teams. We may get a second shot at GT in the tournament and it should be in the same type of atmosphere in the tourny. We'll see how everything plays out.

Dan,

Yes they did. I want to say Buffalo beat West Virginia by 4 goals, with the score being somewhere around 9-5.
