UMLL Week #11 (4/13 - 4/19) Scores Predictions Thoughts

Postby Pinball on Sat Apr 16, 2005 8:57 pm

St. thomas 8
Eau Claire- 5

Eau claire was ready to play and gave a little shock to UST. UST didnt seem like they wanted to play, really lazy on all aspects. UWEC goalie had another awesome game to add to his resume.

Carelton- Won
NDSU- Lost

For two new teams it was nice to see them come along, #6 had an impressive day at attack.

SJU- 12?
Bethel-5?

SJU vs Bethel was a good game-the fans got a little out of control but what can you expect it is case day up here. It seemed to be a lot of fun as it became a beautiful day in collegeville.

Well it is time to play catch-up on this whole caseday thing.........

EC 5 UST 9
After a terrible first quarter being down 5-0, we played probablly the best as a team as we ever have in the past 3 seasons. We thought we might give UST a run at the end, but couldn't capitalize on enough opportunities. At one point late in the 2nd half there was end to end action by both teams for a solid 3 minutes. A really great game to be a part of for our team and for me.

We visited Haugen at the hospital last night and he will be ok. He got some stiches on his lip and may have had a mild concussion, luckily no neck damage. For those not there, he recieved a cross check to the head that bent apart the bars on his face mask.

Thanks for having us Duluth, it was a great game.

I was running the home team's book and I had a final score of
Minnesota 12
St. Cloud 5

There was some dispute about a missing goal; however, as far as I am concerned, there was no 6th goal. The officiating staff agreed with the book and I find it hard to believe that I would miss writing down a goal, as I have not had any problems with that in the past.
