We are currently looking to see if we can play NWC at the crossover. Hopefully on Sunday, after our originally scheduled games.

Justin is correct. The NWC/Dordt game has been rescheduled for 4/20/2005 @ 6 p.m. I think that Bruno is in contact w/USD about trying to play the game during the crossover.

I am doing all I can to try and get the USD game rescheduled. I am waiting to hear if we can play in Illinois during the crossover weekend. I have also made another proposal to both USD and Dordt in trying to get both games in before the crossover, and I am now waiting to hear back from them about that proposal. I apologize to all the teams that we have had to reschedule with. Our school has been very hard to work with this year in regards to getting fields. It has been a very difficult and time consuming job for me to have to reschedule, not something I have wanted to do.

Could a rep from USD PM me some directions to their field for our game this weekend? I hear that you are playing some place different then last year. I couldnt find your email address in our team account, so I figured I would just do it this way. Thanks.

Postby Troy Hood on Sat Apr 16, 2005 2:29 am

From Bloomington - Normal, IL:

Lindenwood 14
Illinois State 11

A well played game from the Redbirds. Many thanks for hosting us at such a fantastic facility.

No knock on Lindenwood but nice job ISU, that score is a lot closer then I expected.....especially considering Zvilik (sp?) is out for the year.

RHIT 10
Wheaton 2

Thanks for coming down guys. The Wheaton team was only able to bring 11 players due to recent injury, but they put up a great fight. At half the score was only 2-0 (RHIT). Fatigue and sheer numbers hurt their squad, but I have to say that they are a great competitors and very sportsmanlike.

Thanks again and good luck in the crossover!

I'm not sure what the box score was, but USD beat Dordt 7-6 today. It was a really hard fought game. Thanks Dordt for coming down.

From Vermillion, SD

USD 2 3 2 0-7
Dordt 2 0 1 3-6

It was a wonderful day for a game. The weather co-operated with us very well. We were man-down for what seemed like over half of the game, but in the end we held on to beat Dordt for the first time in USD's history. Thanks to Dordt for a good game.
