UO vs UW Score
In front of a big crowd Oregon easily handled the Huskies in Eugene tonight jumping out to an early 6-0 lead in the first quarter then cruising to a 16-5 victory.

WOW! Congrats to the Ducks, you completely tossed the A division Playoff picture around a bit. I did not expect that kind of a victory, I guess the real Ducks showed up. Congrats to Joe, Josh, and the rest of you guys. Coach Hush, sorry if I was the "kiss of death." You've still got the playoffs, and I won't pick you guys again. If it helps, I'll go back to routing against you.

Yeah, that's right Kyle, it was all your fault!
Seriously, we just got our butts kicked and have to re-group before we take the field at Gonzaga next week. We are all very disappointed in our performance, and have no excuses for it. Oregon is very good, better than last season. But we are also a much better team than we showed last night, and should be able to at least compete with the Ducks. Hopefully, we will get another chance in the post-season.

It looks like the six teams in the B league playoffs will be Montana, Linfield, UPS, PLU, Whitman, and Western Oregon. Is this correct and for sure or does anyone else still have an outside chance to get in? Just from the looks of these teams, it should be a very interesting playoff year. It seems that any of these teams could get hot and run away with it.

The Curse of the Bearcat is alive and well in Salem.
SOU 10, WU 7
Today, Willamette came out pumped to get their first win in over two years, and took the early 5-2 lead halfway through the second quarter. Victory seemed possible, but as with any good curse, it's when you get close to ending it that the curse takes it's most glaringly disappointing form. Marred by penalties, and a ref that called us "a bunch of hacks" (that is no exaggeration, he actually did) Southern was able to claw their way back into the game. Southern tied it 5-5, WU took their last lead at 6-5, before Southern going on a run and ending in the final of SOU 10, WU 7.
Southern played great today, they beat us fairly and with class. Our eyes got big trying to hold a lead (the first lead since I've been here) and our anger and frustration at ourselves and the referees brought us down.
But hey, we are a bunch of hacks anyway, possibly the only call I agreed with all day

This is my understanding.....
1) and 2) Montana and Linfield, I'm not sure who's who, the rankings seem strange to me.
These are the most likely rankings, with a few PLU, UPS goal tie breakers as possibilities. PLU is the big mover, either a 3 seed, or 6th. It sure would be nice to play them 2 weekends in a row..... for a 3rd time this season.... Western Oregon and Whitman rankings are assuming they beat or lose to teams they've already beat or lost to.
3 PLU 6-2
4 UPS 6-2
5 Western Oregon 6-2
6 Whitman 5-3
or
3 UPS 7-1
4 Western Oregon 6-2
5 Whitman 5-3
6 PLU 5-3

so i was wondering about the Southern oregon-Lewis and clark game. Did it even get played and if it did who won. It was scheduled for saturday. If anyone knows id love a reply. oh and to the rest of the league we havent clinched anything yet. We still have two games left and we know we cant afford to take either of these two teams lightly. The first southern oregon score was not indicative of the game that was played and we are dead sure that Lewis and Clark is gonna be a battle. Thanx for the props, but we arent opening any champagne bottles just yet.

One of the SOU players said L and C by 1. Don't know the exact score.

another playoff interprutation from another coach....
UPS beats PLU
#3 UPS
#4 Whitman
#5 PLU or WOU
#6 PLU orWOU
if UPS loses to PLU by 1 or 2 goals
#3 UPS
#4PLU
#5Whitman
#6Wou
If UPS loses by 3 or more
#3 PLU
#4 Whitman
#5 UPS
#6 WOU
Whitman's record will be 7 - 3 if they lose to Mont. giving them a .700, 8-2 if they beat Montana .800
WOU record will be 6 -3 if they win both games giving them .667
UPS 7-3 if they lose to PLU .700
PLU 7-2 if they win by less then 3 a .778, and 6 - 3 if they lose which makes them .667
Who knows... It will be interesting if Dan can get any final information from the board.
