final from Oakland vs. Purdue was 16-6, 12-1 at half time, then Oakland was able to get the whole bench in which was good, Purdue had a much better second half as well.

Report from Grand Rapids

Postby Andy Sharp on Sat Apr 09, 2005 4:09 pm

Friday Night 4/8
Ball State 2 5 3 4 - 14
Calvin 2 4 4 1 - 11

Saturday 4/9
Indiana U of PA 2 3 2 3 - 10
Calvin 1 2 2 3 - 8

Well played games by both opponents. It's not a revelation, but in case anyone didn't notice, the CCLA-B is a very much improved and strong conference. It's great to see, cause I am sure that whoever wins our conference is going to be a force at nationals, keep up the hard work.

Thank you very much Calvin College

I just want to say that Calvin College is a very professional team and they were great hosts with us. I haven't felt so good under the lights with an ACTUAL commentator (even if he was against us) and with real fans as well as a GREAT LACROSSE TEAM.
Great game you guys, good luck in the tournament (sorry we mighta screwed your seed), unfortunately we won't be in the tournament because of our status in the league. If you guys would like professional quality pictures, please let me know and I will send them to you.
Sincerely
Zolander

What does it say about Pitt's "hype" now? They lost to #8 and #9 by a goal. Using other peoples formula of losing games to top 10 teams, Pittsburgh should be ranked top 15. They havn't lost to an unranked team ie. Oregon, Chico & Florida State.

Explain teams with 3-4 losses ranked higher than them then.

Not backing up the pollsters but my guess is that they were an unknown coming into this year plus they haven't beaten anyone in the Top 25 where as Chico State, FSU and Oregon have.

Iup had a decent first weekend of the year. They drove to michigan and played dearborn and calvin. They went 2-0 beating dearborn 18-3 and calvin 10-8. Thanks to both teams for hosting us we had a lot of fun on our trip.

What does zolander mean by ball state not being able to participate in the tournament because of their status in the league?[/quote]

i believe it has to do with their football team being a Div. 1 program. i believe that thats what the dividing line is between eligibility for A and B divisions. someone can correct me if i'm wrong...but i think thats the deal
I feel like i'm taking crazy pills
