There's talk on one of the other boards about KSU starting up a club program in the SELC next year - anyone hear anything about this?

My stepbrother goes to KSU and he said that he heard the same thing. Not a bad idea considering that Kennesaw is close to some major high schools in terms of lacrosse (Lassiter, Milton, Centennial, Chattahoochee, Harrison, Roswell, etc). I don't think they'd have a problem finding a coach in that area either.

Kennesaw State and Southern Tech both have started initial lacrosse clubs. I don't think it has moved beyond a few kids playing catch at this time. From what I know, both clubs have contacted SELC V-P Ken Lovic for more info. They have been invited to the '05 SELC Championships at Northview in a few weeks.

The '06 season maybe premature for both teams in the conference, but it's great to see the game grow. There has to be plenty of former Atlanta H.S. lax players at both schools now.
