Anyone know yet what is going to happen with playoff selection for DivB teams? As Corbin from Harding has been posting, it could get pretty messy if no solution is set due to the 2 dropouts from the Southeast division.
Also, there was a request some time ago for an updated bylaws to be posted SOMEWHERE. Is someone from the league going to do this? I think that it would help.
As for the deciding factor for DivB playoff games, what do you guys think that the decision should be based upon? (presuming that the first 3 spots go to the subdivision winners)

The GRLC Bylaws state that the only games that count towards playoffs is your subdivision games and crossover games.

Yeah, I considered that when making the poll, I just figured that I would throw a couple of extra options in there.
I really don't see any other "fair" way to determine the spots.
I think that it stands to reason that Harding, WIU, and Creighton will all win their subdivisions, though Creighton's loss to Nebraska surprised me!
The NW subdivision will DEFINATELY be the hotbed for action as:
SD (2-0 - 100% - conference have yet to play Creighton and Dort)
Nebraska(2-2 - 50% - conference should finish out the season winning in subdivision & crossover)
Dordt(2-1 - 66% - conference still having to play SD, then Western Ill at the crossover)
Creighton(2-1 - 66% - conference still having to play SD, and then RHIT ---I think--- in the crossover)
NW SubDivshould end up (in my opinion)
Creighton(5-1)
Dordt(5-1) (4-2 if WIU beats them in the crossover)
SD (4-2)
Nebraska (4-2) takes seed based on victory over SD
SE SubDiv
Harding - playoff spot
NE SubDiv
WIU playoff spot (7-0) (6-1 if dropping a game to either Dordt)
RHIT (6-1 if we beat Creighton) (5-2 otherwise)
It will be a mess at the end of the seasons if all teams win out like this. Percentage wise it would be RHIT that would take the first playoff seed simply due to playing MORE games in conference+crossover.
I may be wrong in some of this - I did it rather quickly - but if this is how things turn out, be ready for an interesting postseason.

"Nebraska (4-2) takes seed based on victory over SD"
quoted from RHITLax
(I would have used the quoting thing everyone else uses, but I'm not that bright, so I couldn't make it work)
When exactly did Nebraska beat South Dakota? If I remember correctly, we beat them 8-6. Also, I didn't think Nebraska was eligible for the post-season due to the fact that they're an "A" team playing down in "B".
The Northwest division is indeed an interesting place to be. I know we'll be trying our very best to get the "W's" we need to win our division.

You are right Jay, Nebraska is not eligible for playoffs.

Sorry about that --- that's why I said I THOUGHT it was all correct (looks like I had that one backwards )
