MVP
If unt runs the tables they will be in the playoffs too? man personally, I hope that Unt beats sMu next saturday and determines there own faith. Nothing better than a game that determines one team's playoff hopes, it certainly brings out the best in a team. Plus the matchup of files and zach should be interesting. Could be game of the year in the lsa. Does anyone know when ut and tech will play? another lsa game of the year candidate, with mvp candidates matching up in goal

Re: MudBall Games...."Dont 2 Teams Play in the MUD"
PinkSnappa21 wrote:I didnt play last yr. and this my 1st yr. in the LSA but 2 teams play in the MUD so step up Tech..You lost.....From what i hear there wasnt any mud at all just cold and windy.
....(headache)... I wasn't making excuses, we both had to play on the same field. There, in fact, was quite a bit of mud, but once again, not an excuse. Also, I'd be careful in how you rate TAMU. They're a very young, yet talented team and criticizing thier younger players may come around to bite you in the end. There's no good reason to get the TAMU guys rowdy, at least if you want to beat them. Hopefully, conditions will be more favorable this year for Tech/UNT, and yes, you should start preparing... or at least hope for mud.
monkeylax: Tech/UT as of now will be playing either April 16th or 17th in Austin (sigh) depending on the TAMU/UT game. It should make for an excellent weekend of lacrosse.
cheers.

Oh and for Ryan Davis's sake I'm not affiliated with the LSA. I haven't played in quite some time, but I happen to live in the Lone Star State for work, and I like to watch a little lax once and a while, oh yeah and long walks on the beach
Why don't you stick to doing that. You have no business posting here.

Chris Files had 8 goals aganist Baylor. Oh...and he got pulled at the start of the 4th. I will not comment on the Tech game of last year or this week's upcoming game because i will not be on the field to back anything up. You should do the same JStoops aka Joel Stupka. If there was a Rookie of the Year award, Steve Sunderland from UNT would win hands down. I love getting you computer geeks fired up.

Sunderland has made a huge impact on defense for UNT... His arrival totally overshadowed that scrub they got from UT... Almost to the point that it makes me mad. He consistently wants to cover the opponents best attackment, and so far has done an incredible job. He would have my vote hands down... Our Bear...hes just grown up so fast...

Oh i dont think winston was criticizing A&Ms young players at all. A&M's coach does a great job of developing talent; i think he just wanted everyone to realize that they only scored two goals after the first quarter. Whether it was the starters coming out, or our defense making adjustments, we held them to two goals. This year we have generally finished a lot stronger than we have started, and that was apparent to anyone at the A&M game. If you werent there, you probably shouldnt pass judgement anyway. Since i have been a part of this team, no player has purposely tried to incite anger from another team. (cept maybe Texas State this year, and you can see how far that got us).

An MVP debate is acceptable, but please, do not attack other players or schools, or call them out in this forum!

I couldn't resist any longer. It seems like a lot of these posts are four words. ___ _____ for MVP. Well, that is great but tell me why. For all us ignorant people who don't know who Barrett Ballay is
My example:
Max Mello for MVP.
He has got to have the coolest name in the league.
See what I did? I gave you a reason why Max is deserving of MVP, beause his last name is Mello. Please help make this MVP discussion a little credible and don't just throw names in a hat.

Easy Laxfan25. We will crown a conference champion this year and proudly send them to Blaine, as well as name an MVP of the league.

HAHA! that was pretty funny! i was thinking of a way to shut these guys up , but that is good enough.
if Files wins and is elected captain of the ship, can Ryan Davis be the Co-captain. he seems to doing a good job "blowing the horn" for the "Files for MVP" campaign.
peace.

I realize there are some biases here, but from what I have seen here are my candidates....
TxState:
*Henderson(attack) no one in this league can come close to stopping him. He had a field day against OOC Lindenwood too.
*Galvin(goalie) although we lost the close one in Lubbock this weekend, no one can deny that Mike put on a better show than Kurzweil and his play his supperior to Tech's keeper.
*Barret Ballay: Should be regarded as a top defender in this league
A&M:
*Turnbow...have been impressed everytime I have seen him play.
Tech:
*Kurzweil...gotta give him props because he's legit, but Galvin is better in cage.
*Stewart(#1)...big boy, that apparently puts up some numbers against everyone
UNT:
Shimanek...only because he's showing me some love in this debate, and realizes that we have some people that can play down here. i guess he's an alright defenseman too....jokes
