The CCSU game was cancelled due to the rain, that score is from Sunday's game vs UCONN.

What has happened to my Huskies? The Connecticut breed, not the NU one. We can see who won that dogfight!

Sorry, didn't mean to offend. The Dean I knew was always a really strong program dominating the PCLL in the early years. Has that changed? Have our programs improved so much that we can easily beat a top Dean squad or have they fallen off in the past few years? If they were still a dominant team, I didn't know if they were resting players in games against non-league opponents.

What level is Dean? Club or varsity? If club, why haven't they shown interest in the PCLL?

just messing with ya Dan

Dean is not as dominant as they used to be when me and you played them as PCLL opponents in the mid 90's. They have gone through a few coaches in the past 4-5 years, and now have a good one that wants to stay and get them back on track. They are playing a fairly easy schedule this year to get a feel for where they stand. Their coach told me that they have a couple guys going to D1 next year, one to PENN, and I forget where the other is going. The rest were metiocre. So far they have played Navy prep (lost 20-0), and us (lost 14-5). Their schedule is on laxpower under NJCAA.

What level is Dean? Club or varsity? If club, why haven't they shown interest in the PCLL?

Dean is a varsity program that plays in the NJCAA Region XXI. The played in the PCLL for years. As a matter of fact thier old coach, Steve Schairer, whom the PCLL trophy is named after, founded the PCLL. In 1998 they were forced, by the NJCAA, to play a schedule in one of thier divisions. If you go to the PCLL site and look up history, it should talk about them.
