This was a great hoax, well-executed, but I only wish Alex and Sonny decided to run it without the "April Fool's" disclaimer, trying to keep the thing going for at least 24 hours. The buzz would have been... monumental perhaps?

Humor is good, people, even if you don't find a particular post to be funny. With our strict message board rules here (which I approve of), things can get a little "sanitized" and routine. I sometimes try to inject a little levity into my own posts (like the weekly poll this year when I made up names for racehorses out of Oregon and Simon Fraser players' names). I worried before posting that some might be offended or, worse yet, somehow not understand that I was TRYING to be funny.
