MCLA rosters are filled with talent, and these six represent the cream of the crop among those hoping to bring their teams to the 2014 MCLA National Tournament, which takes place this May at Chapman University in California. Playmaking and scoring abound across the board, but who do you think will be tops in 2014?

Carson Barton, Sr. Attack – Grand Canyon

He's cracked the 80-point barrier in both MCLA divisions, and Barton could flirt with triple digits this spring. He had at least six points in nine of the 'Lopes' 14 games, including 15 in two games against BYU.

Kacy Carter, Sr., Attack – Colorado State

One of the top finishers in the country, Carter (49g, 5a) could be on the brink of a monster year after the graduation of Austin Fisher. If the Rams three-peat, he'll likely be an 80-point guy in 2014.

Peter Doyle, Soph., Midfield – Stanford

Doyle torched UCSB for five markers in his first collegiate game and never looked back, finishing with 50 goals and 15 assists. He'll be the lead dog on a Stanford team eyeing a return visit to nationals.

Mike Fabrizio, Jr., Attack – Brigham Young

After a seven-point rookie campaign, Fabrizio (52g, 32a) exploded as a sophomore, helping the Cougars make their third straight final four. He has more than twice as many points as any other BYU returner.

Logan Quinn, Sr., Midfield – Arizona State

After starting his career as a scorer, Quinn emerged as one of the best playmaking midfielders in the country last spring. He led the team in assists (36) while also chipping in with 23 goals.

Riley Seidel, Sr., Attack – Colorado

The top gun for the runner-up Buffs, Seidel led CU in assists (25) and points (59). Colorado loses some key pieces, but Seidel's presence will provide the Buffs with an insurance plan.

Dave Franklin is reporting that Carson Barton is out for the year with a torn ACL.

Carson Barton of #GrandCanyon is most likely out for the year with a torn ACL. Surgery is on 2/6, Barton was #1 on IL's #MCLA POY watch.
