somewhat common phenomenon (around here) caught in a photo sequence....spinner shark strutting his stuff.

Wow. That is crazy. I would love to hear what the two surfers caught in the photo thought...

About taking up ice hockey maybe?

Thats what I would have thought. No sharks in hockey- at least not one the East coast...

honestly it doesn't bother the locals...i'm an orlando/weekend "tourist" and you'll see 3 guys sitting within 20 feet of each other in a row, the guy in the middle gets bit, the victim and the tourist on the left go screaming into shore, the local on the right shrugs and stays out.

though getting bit by a shark here is more akin to getting bit by a dog with really sharp teeth. they don't bite you in half like on the west coast.
